Rocket Salad (also known as Arugula)- a super ingredient freshly harvested in Italy- is highly concentrated in isothiocyanates, an active molecule that has the ability to promote the synthesis of Glutathione (GSH), a tripeptide that plays a major role in the phase II of our skin defense system. GSH is essential because it protects DNA and participates directly in various detoxification processes by neutralizing free radicals and preserves Vitamins C and E in their active forms.
